Aww! They are both so pretty! What shelter did you go to? Lots of kittens this kitten season.
I'm not good with names, unfortunately. I end up with names like Velcro, Bonkers, and Fuzzy.
The gray one... hmm, Twylla (short for twilight since she's that pretty light gray color). The dark tabby... India for india ink. OK so I've been playing with ink and brushes tonight. ;)
Since Donner and Blitzen kind of reek like plagiarism because of some 70s/80s TV show, how about Thunderbolt and Lightning? Left and Right? Stop and Go? Buffalo and Bill? Id and Ego? Rock and Roll? Rooty and Tooty? Dexter and Mandark? Dexter and Didi (what is their gender actually?)? Lolly and Pop? This and That? Up and Down? Al and Carmen? Need I go on? Ping me tomorrow if these weren't good enough;)
No, you said, I totally knew they were both girls. I don't see how that should come into it. People make such rigid evaluations of the gender identities of their pets! ;)
Ha, I was just responding to the "Mr". I glanced at the post, but didn't think about what I'd captioned the pictures with.
I tend to prepend Mr and Ms onto pet names, so wouldn't do well with that as part of the name. :) But you're correct, what if one of them doesn't identify as a girl (or one of the horses as a boy)? I'll have to think about that.
Eh... of course I meant to say Al and CarmeL! I KNEW there was something wrong with that name, I just couldn't put my finger on it:-D Al and Carmel just don't sound as good as Al and Carmen, so I guess that was my mistake:)

I never feel very good at names either (my current cat is named "Boo" after all). :) I think Twylla is very nice though. :)

I like the Al and Carmel suggestion, but doubt EG will go for it. :)
