I have *got* to quit reading news articles about injured (killed) children. It makes me sick to my stomach but I keep clicking on the links. I totally know what you mean - stories like that used to be depressing or infuriating ... now they make me feel sick and sometimes a little panicky.

Yeah, I should stop reading those kinds of articles too - I probably read them more and get more distressed over them now than before I had a kid.
