A year ago, I was living at home with my parents, working at Safelite, and dreading the return of my law school grades. When my law school grades finally did come back I spent a whole lot of time crying because I was just so damn stressed out. That's the law school culture for ya. If you're not perfect, it's doomsday. So about two weeks ago I went on an interview for a nanny job. Adorable 3 month old girl, first time parents only older than me by a couple of years. Then I spent Wednesday and Thursday of this week on a "trial run." I went for a couple of hours both days and took care of the baby while mom did laundry and relaxed, etc ( Read more... )

So, I have been doing A LOT of travelling in the last month and a half. First was to New Orleans for the half marathon. Then it was a spring break road trip. Um...HOLY CRAP! Today, I ran a half marathon. And actually finished. And I didn't die. So I'll say again...HOLY CRAP.

I even have a shiny medal (legit metal, not cheap plastic. That thing is heavy) to prove it. :)
