First of all, anyone who is an old school Fantasy Fantasy gamer ought to get a kick out of this:

Dictionary.com's word of the dayFF4 was the best game. I wish they'd remake it for PS2 or the upcoming PS3 (although there is a newer version available for GameBoy Advance, which of course I don't own), as opposed to FF7 four billion times. You can't ( Read more... )

A blank canvas. ^_^

I'll pop on IM and we can figure out times that both work for us. *hugs* Congrats on outwitting the formerly nonfunctioning bed.

I've got a GBA emulator, works just fine. Actually playing FF1 on it right now....haven't found a rom for 4, but I'm sure it's out there....somewhere.

Yeah, I play the Japanese version of FF4 on PS1 (which means it also works on PS2, praise the lord). I just wish that instead of remaking FF7 into something pretty for the PS2 platform specifically, they'd give us old-school fans something back (like FF4 in 3D).

But thanks for the suggestion. ^_^

Ah Final Fantasy... I'm a rabid lover of FFX myself. All the characters are super cool, especially Auron! LOVE HIM!

*giggles* You love the Castlevania series too???? SQUEEEEEE!!! Right now I'm in love with Lament of Innocence on PS2 and I plan to buy Curse of Darkness in the near future... once the price drops! w00T! Anything vampire or Belmont just rules. 'Nough said!

Ohhh, that reminds me. Oh gosh, a looong while back I posted about this remixer who's making a tribute album for Castlevania III. I don't have links to the actual music online, so HERE's the link to my post which tells you where to find it. But if you're really interested, I can try doing the whole YouSendIt thing later on... just let me know. :-)

*hugs*

Oh cool! I'll definitely leave a post for your brother about the Castlevania music and I'd love to get the stuff you have too. That would oh so rock!!! Definitely let me know about the Castlevania remixes that I have as I'll find a way to get those to you as well if needs be. Ohh and I have a few bits and pieces from the FFX soundtrack if you'd like that. I definitely have the Tidus/Yuna love theme 'Suteki Da Ne'... sooo pretty!!!

*hugs you*

Btw, as regards, Helium Vola, et al, have you tried Rondellus? They're a Lithuanian group (the name of which I have probably misspelled, as i am wont to do with these things) that does Latin-translated and medieval songs - including an entire album of Latin-translated and recomposed Black Sabbath songs. I think Mike put me on the scent, but it might not've been - in any case, you should try to track them down. I'm pretty sure they used to be on the old mp3.com (the one that didn't suck, pre-RIAA), but I think they've gone elsewhere since. I may still have a few tracks of the converted Black Sabbath stuff - if so, I'll try to get them up or something, should there be any interest.
