I won't say I have heat, because that will jinx it. But it's currently 82 degrees in my apartment for mysterious, unexplained reasons. This is incredibly wasteful and way too hot for me in the winter, but I figure that way if it cools down again in here, it won't be like walking on blocks of ice when I leave the warmth and safety of my bedroom. ARGH the cousin of no heat, TOO MUCH HEAT. I'm currently freeezing in my parents' place, but seriously, used to live in a rooming house and it would be SO. HOT. in the winter I would run about in t-shirts. (Turn that down!! It's a waste!!) and in the summer it was horrible because it would always be a couple degrees hotter inside than outside, and it was already quite muggy enough thankyouverymuch. Reasonable temperatures! Is it too much to ask for?

St Purrtrick is an adorable name for a cat. I bet he got rid of snakes super fast :)

To clarify, I personally decided to set my heat really high yesterday so it wouldn't just fizzle out! Entirely myself to blame. But yeah, ugh, my last apartment I had no control over the heat, so occasionally would wake up in a bedroom so hot and humid I couldn't breathe, and had to leave the window open for an hour or so. But sometimes it would be really hot and then dip down to really cold, and once every winter the furnace (which was old and grumpy) would break down completely.

...The heat now seems to be working properly, though.

IDK what St. Purrtrick does but he's not green at all and there are no snakes in the game. :( He does leave a lot of fish, though.
