So I think for some reason I just... lose heat every night around 11 pm??? I don't get it either. But it comes back sometime later, often when I'm asleep. It's very weird. I guess I'll let maintenance know but since it never cuts out at a time when anyone is on duty (and usually at a time when I don't want even an emergency maintenance guy

Thank you! I'm a little surprised it's comprehensible without canon, although maybe the fact that it's an AU helps.

(Also, I'm a little surprised I can write in first person at all. The last time I wrote something entirely in first-person, I was in fifth grade and writing the adventures of a plucky but oppressed uplifted tiger girl who repeatedly saved the entire population of the Earth and several other planets with guile, correct spelling, and improbable rocket piloting skills. It was neither readable nor addictive.)
