The Challenge:  Stashbusting

Fabric: (polyester) brocade & linen/cotton blend

Stashed for how long? 3 years for the brocade, a 6 years for the linen/cotton, and 9 or 10 years for the buttons.

Pattern: Laughing Moon #125, View A

Year: 1800-1815, approximately

Notions: fusible interfacing, buttons, thread

It was a wonderful pattern to work with! The part that took me the longest was making a mockup and doing an adjustment for a 'corpulent' figure. No seriously, that's exactly how the pattern instructions refer to it!

I really liked it! There are many, many pages of instructions and that made me nervous at first, but I didn't have any problems with it at all!
