I need help from people who know music. I have a throw-away line in a story. One guy is apologizing for playing the guitar, which is what he does when he's nervous. (He's playing the melody from Clapton's Tears in Heaven, fwiw.) Another guy is going to say, "It could be worse. You could be playing __________" What would be a cheesy/bad

'Stairway To Heaven'. omg everyone learns that first. Or 'House of the Rising Sun'. Not everyone thinks they're bad, but most folks who play guitar or love classic guitar riffs DON'T want to hear either of those.

I second Stairway to Heaven. There's even a sign at a guitar store in some movie--Wayne's World, maybe?--that says "No Stairway to Heaven".
