Rub for chicken ... sounds dirty, doesn't it?

I put together an actual tasty seasoning! This makes a nice rub for crock pot chicken--and would probably be tasty for other means of cooking chicken, but quite honestly, the slow cooker is about the only way I know how to cook chicken and have it consistently come out right. Other means are all guess-and-hope. Anyway

This sounds lovely, though being a Brit I do have to ask how much is a can of chicken broth?

About 14 oz, I think? Enough to cover most, if not all, of the chicken.
