The professor for my cultural studies class is the worst professor I have ever encountered. And she's a full professor - not easy for a woman in Germany in a somewhat conservative German department. No syllabus, doesn't take attendance, didn't take down anyone's names for the groups who are supposed to report on specific texts in each class,

Buying music on the basis of album cover art and/or low price is always a gamble. (Remember "Huttenalarm"?) But I don't blame you. You'll have to bring that one with you when you visit.

did it have a negative impact on your grade, or did she simply not change? maybe i could do it in the context of international student, non-native speaker who needs help, even though language skills have nothing to do with it. but it would be a plausible reason for her to at least provide a syllabus. everyone did complain on the first day, but she shut us up very quickly. because the germans don't pay for their education, there doesn't seem to be that "consumer is right" mentality here.
