What, you didn't go to Titisee??

This discovery has since led me to reconsider my plans for a multi-day backpacking trip through the Forest to Lake Constance.

I did today! It looks so different than when you and I were there. But I gotta say that I love tourist traps in the off-season. They're so eerily empty. It wasn't really full today either, but it's in its state of full touristic perfection. You should see the fkn flowerbeds! I found a remote rock on the shore and sat and read with my feet in the water. I cursed myself for not having worn my swimsuit. Next time. Titi, titi, titi.

so that's how the germans do it! thanks for the tip. although i think i'm allergic to volkslieder, too. if i sing them my throat might swell up and i'll suffocate. the ants will win either way. i know they want me dead.
