Some of you are probably wondering, "Where the *&%^$ is that weekly chapter of Windshear?" or "Is there another hiatus?" But no, it's something else. One of the main reasons is that I haven't been able to co-write with Dream on a consistent basis ever since she's started attending... the top 12 university in the world apparently O_O
Dream: "I'm very sorry, but my uni eats me alive. This is my fault orz"
Having gone through university, I sympathize. New place, new lessons, teachers, friends... Besides, I've been on an energy-sucking roller coaster for the last few months due to work, among other things that I still don't want to talk about online.
If you're still reading, thank you!
In lieu of weekly installments, we would like to try posting bi-weekly, partly to lighten the load and so we have more edit time to improve the writing quality. If it hasn't been obvious before, we've been rushing out a few chapters for some time and we don't want that. Like I told Dream, it's not supposed to be a chore, and I don't want a fan fic making her feel guilty about doing university papers, ya know?
And since we haven't been idle this week, we do have something to show for it. It's not much, but it is entirely 8018-centric.
We're very sorry. As always, enjoy ♥ And hey, wanna try your hand at guessing who wrote some of these sentences? XD

Theme Set: alpha
Rating: PG-13
Summary: 50 sentences on Yamamoto and Hibari as a couple, which somehow did not end up in Windshear.
#01 - Comfort
Being passively held was a foreign concept for the likes of Hibari Kyouya, until one Yamamoto Takeshi turned it into a personal challenge of patience versus perseverance, and neither wanted to lose.
#02 - Kiss
The first time was so raw, Hibari's teeth cut his lips, but since it was only the first time, Yamamoto felt perfectly justified to try again, and again, and...
#03 - Soft
Hibari's eyes snapped open the instant Yamamoto's fingers ghosted over his hair.
#04 - Pain
It never failed to amuse when people automatically assumed that he had to be a masochist simply because he liked Hibari Kyouya; Yamamoto laughed about it, a lot, because it was all right as long as the other man knew better.
#05 - Potatoes
It took weeks to convince Hibari to cook with him, and on that faithful day, Yamamoto quickly realized that Hibari was a god at making mashed... dishes.
#06 - Rain
"An umbrella is not necessary, Yamamoto Takeshi," but the wet, ridiculous idiot just smiled back at Hibari and opened the tiny thing over them anyway.
#07 - Chocolate
Looking from Yamamoto's flushed face to the small package that he held out to the head of the Disciplinary Committee with both hands, Hibari frowned slightly and flatly pointed out, "You're male, herbiviore."
#08 - Happiness
Yamamoto cooked the meal, Hibari made the tea, Hibird sang in appreciation, and Kusakabe cleaned up.
#09 - Telephone
"Oh, that ringtone's special," Yamamoto grinned, "means my lover is calling."
#10 - Ears
Hibari froze stiff when Yamamoto licked very softly at another erogenous zone, and nearly bit his lip until he couldn't help but ask, "Tell me how many more I have."
#11 - Name
The word, Kyouya, meant nothing to him; it was the way Yamamoto Takeshi said it - with a brighter smile and a softer look in his eyes - that made Hibari think that it could mean something.
#12 - Sensual
When Hibari didn't immediately bite him to death, Yamamoto lifted the blanket, crawled onto the bed, snuggled up for a good night kiss, and that was when Hibari decided to bite his mouth off.
#13 - Death
He's all sharp edges, with metallic wings that cuts and bleeds, and to pursue him is akin to willingly falling into the abyss - but Yamamoto does it anyway.
#14 - Sex
They were fighting, or they had been fighting, until Yamamoto got that hungry carnivore look in his eyes that matched Hibari's...
#15 - Touch
"Don't," Hibari stated, the steel in his voice leaving no room for debate, but it wasn't exactly a bad thing when Yamamoto ignored the order.
#16 - Weakness
The signs: dizziness, sweaty hands, shortness of breath, insomnia when he isn't there, and a racing pulse when Hibari meets Yamamoto again.
#17 - Tears
Hibari walked out into the garden when the rain began to fall, waiting for that idiot - where are you - to come open an umbrella over their heads and wipe the water from his damp cheeks.
#18 - Speed
"H-Hibari, I hear footsteps cu-"; "Then finish it."
#19 - Wind
"You have," a soft breath through his hair later, "had one of Hibird's feathers on your head, haha..."
#20 - Freedom
It was oddly reassuring and something Yamamoto never thought possible; with Hibari at his side, he could travel the world, see what was outside of Namimori, and still feel at home.
#21 - Life
Yamamoto shot up, "Whatever his blood type, I'm a universal doner."
#22 - Jealousy
Sometimes, Yamamoto would look at Dino and wonder who would win if they fought, but if Hibari was similarly curious, he would just fight - and win, damnit.
#23 - Hands
Callused fingers against skin, moving down his sides from his shoulders, caressing and touching, so gentle that Hibari thinks he might bruise from it.
#24 - Taste
Like blood, Yamamoto thinks, his tongue pressed flat against the curve of Hibari's neck; of metal, and sweat, and dirt, and danger, as impossible as it sounded.
#25 - Devotion
It is widely known that the strength of Hibari's flame breaks every single ring that he places on his fingers, which is why he wears the one Yamamoto gave him on a chain around his neck.
#26 - Forever
Time seems to stand pleasantly still when Hibari uses him as a pillow.
#27 - Blood
Hibari's smile was as sharp as knives and twenty times as deadly as he bent down, licking against the small cut on Yamamoto's skin, colouring his lips red.
#28 - Sickness
The symptoms: a rapid-fire beating heart, clammy palms, pale lips, and a trembling smile as Yamamoto met Hibari's eyes.
#29 - Melody
Yamamoto is tone deaf and can't carry a tune to save his life, but he's convinced that Hibari can sing, because Hibird couldn't have learned the Nami-High anthem from a midi ringtone, and if that ball of fluff could sing so clearly, just think of how it would sound with Hibari's voice!
#30 - Star
Brightly shining, guiding him back home even when his clothes were covered in blood and he stank of death and carnage.
#31 - Home
Wood and paper panelling, the smell of bittersweet tea, the sound of the shishi-odori tapping gently, rhythmically - sometimes Yamamoto wonders why it is here that he stumbles back to after every mission, rather than to his room in Tsuna's mansion.
#32 - Confusion
Hibari hated that light-headed, weak-kneed feeling that made him cling to Yamamoto, because the wall didn't seem to be holding him and the floor was slippery with blood, not theirs - never theirs - and he wanted more.
#33 - Fear
Yamamoto didn't smile or say anything for the longest time, but the wild look in his eyes and that desperate grip he had over Hibari's limp hand told the doctors that there would soon be hell to pay.
#34 - Lightning/Thunder
It struck him one day, a shock so great it straightened his spine and knocked the air out of his lungs, and Yamamoto could only stare wide-eyed at Hibari, trying to identify the warmth within him.
#35 - Bonds
Hibari was freer than the birds in the sky, then the wind itself, but somehow Yamamoto has managed to wound his strings of affection around him, keeping him tethered to the ground.
#36 - Market
Even in the fullest of crowds, Yamamoto's eyes are drawn towards Hibari immediately- well, that, and the fact that the crowd parts for him like the Red Sea.
#37 - Technology
It wasn't hyper-intuition, but self-preservation which made Tsuna notice: Hibari doesn't do the death aura when it's Yamamoto telling him to say, "Cheese!"
#38 - Gift
Hibari's eyes widened minutely when he saw the humongous diamond on the ring, and then, the tonfas came out, because, "I'm not female, Yamamoto Takeshi."
#39 - Smile
When Hibari's lips thinned like a fine, curved blade, their target's heart skipped several beats, and Yamamoto couldn't help but chuckle, "I think he's dead already."
#40 - Innocence
"Take me out to the ball game~"; "What did you teach Hibird to sing?!"
#41 - Completion
Like two pieces of a puzzle - their differences were what made them gel together, instead of pulling them apart.
#42 - Clouds
Sometimes, when he fell asleep in class, Yamamoto dreamed that he was napping on the rooftop instead, not the one where he ate lunch with Tsuna and Gokudera, but the other one.
#43 - Sky
"Forget the baseball idiot," Yamamoto barely heard his friend's grousing, because, "He's Cloud-watching."
#44 - Heaven
Perhaps it's sentimental, but there's nothing more that Yamamoto wants than this: the feel of Hibari's skin on his, his form fitting against Yamamoto's chest, his breath quiet and soft against his ears.
#45 - Hell
"Yamamoto Takeshi," Hibari's eyes narrowed, not on the young women chatting it up with his man, but on his man in particular.
#46 - Sun
It took a few second for the prefect to un-squint and make out the back of some baseball club member jogging off into the distance with a, "Haha, looks like you need the hat more than I do!"
#47 - Moon
Pale skin like alabaster, eyes as dark as the night sky - Yamamoto's fingers trail down Hibari's body, and thinks that perhaps he has caught himself not a Princess, but a Prince.
#48 - Waves
Touches across his skin, at once light and fleeting and heavy and caressing, and Hibari hisses beneath his blindfold, feeling Yamamoto's finger tips like the lapping of the ocean against his skin.
#49 - Hair
Nothing like a woman's, Yamamoto muses wryly, tugging at the coarse strands as he pulls Hibari's head forward, crashing their lips together.
#50 - Supernova
With Yamamoto's hand on Hibari's, their flames burst out of their rings like a stellar explosion, spinning and expanding steadily until there was just a sphere, and the two of them; "What are you waiting for?"
