Well, Mike should be finished with Louisiana work trips for a while. The last trip he made was last Wednesday (2/2) morning (he went to work, and then drove straight to LA after work, because home was out of the way), and he returned on Friday evening (2/4). It kinda stunk because we had been planning to work a youth convention on the weekend,

I'd say that's creative present buying -- no predictable old flowers for you! Though I'm sure he'll have the sense to at least come up with flowers for V-day.

Will get around to posting about my reading once I get this mess of applications off. Weird how I reallyreally want to get it done, yet still manage to procrastinate.

LOL - Well, I haven't gotten flowers since our first Valentine's Day together - 2003, but I think that's because the delivery people ticked him off since I didn't get it until after 7pm that evening, and they were supposed to be delivered during the day while he was at work. I guess they were pretty busy and all, but we ended up having to wait to go out to dinner, and it wasn't as much a "surprise" because here we were waiting for something...rather than it arriving during the day.

Not sure what he's got planned for V-day, though. Last year we did cards, and I think he got me a box of candy after much prodding. LOL! I've been asking him, and the way he answers I think he's got something up his sleeve, but not too sure. Either way, he's a great guy, and I'd rather be surprised with flowers on a random day than V-day, anyway. :o)
