*headdesk* Finally got around to watching ep 5 and once again I'm sorely tempted to read the novel(s). Whereupon the the question becomes do I buy the original novel, the bunko release (2 vols), the LN's when they're released next month (also 2 vols; same price as the bunko release), or...? The problem is that I'm just not sure I'd actually read ( Read more... )

I wish I could read Yakumo. I enjoyed the anime & the manga (both versions). Based on how the anime ended, I was convinced the series was over. If you get Yakumo and read it, I would love to know if it advances Yakumo & Haruka's relationship any farther.

It's been a long time since I saw the anime or read any of the series. ^^; To be honest, I'm not sure if I'll be picking it up since it's a tankoubon release. (I jumped on GHs tankoubon release, but that's GH. ^^; ) Looking around Amazon, it appears that the bunko release for vol 7 was in late Oct last year, so once this latest vol is released, the bunko version will be 2 vols behind. I think I need to rewatch the anime since I don't entirely remember how things went with it. >.<;

I'm a little behind, as I haven't watched ep. 3 yet. (on a different note - I didn't realize you'd stopped following Saiunkoku!) It's definitely different and it keeps me interested.

I love Shinrei Tantei Yakumo! That's one I really liked, and I'm glad there's going to be a new novel release - I didn't realize that was on hiatus for such a long time!

Another the anime definitely has my attention this season, I have to admit that. ^^; (Unfortunately, the serious slow-down and the way the story started going for Saiun really turned me off that series. It happens. >.> )

^^; Neither did I. It reminds me of some comments I read on 2ch in the Migawari thread; novel releases can often take a serious hit when a series gets an anime release. Not sure if the anime release was related to the slowdown, but... ^^;
