Today was the first time in a long time that I've walked facefirst into something. Kind of a "clong" moment, except that the noise was kind of more like "BAM ( Read more... )

I haven't walked facefirst into anything for years.. last time I remember (hopefully I would have remembered everytime I ran facefirst into something) it was a glass door. I think I was about 9 or 10 years old, and it was at my dad's friend's house. They had a glass door which was kept pretty clean. It was open when I walked into their house, but I guess someone closed it? I tried to walk into the backyard and I walked right into it :)

DD: Well, at least it's okay 'cause it was invisible. Haha aww, that must have sucked, though!

Yeah, last thing I hit facefirst was this bar at forehead level (right above my eyes) in a playground after school. Elementary school. Funnier than it was painful, this one was more painful than that. XD

HAHHAHAHAHAHA! guess i'm not as sympathetic as your other friends here. Sorry, can't help it, i'm mean. But it's just so funny when ppl trip/run into things...

It's ok...like you said...any normal person would have done the same thing...it's not your fault, it's bad design on the architect's part. Hope it's not very obvious when you're walking around that you ran into something...

Don't worry, this sort of thing happens to you all the time right?? no need to be embarrassed about it Xp

XD I tell friends that they can feel free to laugh as long as they help me up (or call the ambulance, as the case may be). It is funny, so as long as you check if I'm fine first, it's all in good fun.

Oy, I'm always embarrassed, no matter how many times it happens!

well, if it makes you feel any better, I did something like that recently too. Couple months ago I was playing tennis, and one of the balls flew outta the court...so I went chasing after it and when i pushed open the metal gated door...it unexpectedly sprang back at me and hit me smack in the forehead >_<^ needless to say, I had a huge bump on my forehead for the following 2-3 months before it went away.
