It's encouraging to know you're not losing hope and that the people most important to you are being so supportive. :) It feels so great when they're keeping you in mind all the time.

And I definitely feel that the amendment won't stand given the turning tides of the political outlook and environment. Things are changing for sure and the fight for civil rights for all has a positive outlook despite the results.
