This morning I just found out something interesting. According to some concerned folks American libraries are banning books left and right. Or rather just the right's books

Being "anti-gay" doesn't mean one's "pro-family," especially if you look at the divorce rate and domestic abuse/violence statistics. And show me documentation that someone has "turned gay" because of a book, let alone what "damage" is done by "turning gay." People are nuts.

Also, one of my favorite liberal talk radio show hosts, Stephanie Miller, once said on her show that the reason the ultra-conservative uber-Christians [my phrasing] have issues with art (literature, film, music, theatre, etc.) is because "all the talent is on [the Left's] side." Maybe it's the same with science, too...

I must muse on this and then smack my head thrice on a desk.
