Cat wash successful but with casualties

So I washed the cats they were less then thrilled.  Like I thought Kenny was easier to handle struggled at first then reduced to mewing when he realized there was no escape.  Fiona accidentally jumped in the tub while I was dring Kenny so as soon as I lifted her over the tub she started in on the biting and clawing

Well I'm glad you survived! It's always a battle washing cats, and each time, you learn something you can use to help you the next time.

Yup just washed them again yesterday and I learned a bit more. was able to get my sister to come over and help and having two people really does make a difference. I held the cats in place while she wet and washed them.

Also they didn't mind the 5-10 minute wait as much this time since we wrapped them in a towel and held them instead of holding the cat over the water (which is what I had to do to keep them from struggling too much and to keep them from trying to lick themselves dry last time)

So hopefully each time will get a little easier as the cats get used to it.
