Resolve

It's been a while since I posted. At least three weeks, or so, considering I didn't update at all while I was in Ottawa. Which was more a good than bad thing, I will tell you ( Read more... )

I'm glad that you liked Invader Zim (despite me falling asleep?) and had a wonderful vacation!

Also, I'm definitely encouraging you to feel better and to work out for that end, but it'd be impossible for you to be any sexier than you are now.

Second, I'm aiming at permenant Toronto residency. I want to get work here, an apartment here, and live *here*. I still can't see going back to Ottawa when I graduate, so it's better I plan roots now, rather than later.

I wish you had mentioned that to me when you were in Ottawa.

I thought I had mentioned it.
I've been trying to do it since first year, maybe I just stopped repeating myself.

The only reason it sparks itself as important again now is because I have more motivation to get it done now. I'd really rather not have to apartment hunt in August.

But I'll have a better idea of what my plans are going to be by the end of the month, I think.

You had mentioned that you didn't want to stay in Ottawa, but not that you'd be staying in Toronto upon graduation.

Congratulations are in order for the new clarity of vision and for the new found resolve.

Scarborough Town Centre has that Warhammer store - I don't know if they encourage "social" gaming since it IS a retail store, but it may be a good first stop.

Centennial is deadly for killing arting; me, Julie and Nishani all had serious trouble arting after our stint there. It's not just the practical skills of pencil moving that take a hit, it's the internal mental processes of creativity that go for a nose dive. Be aware; be forewarned.

Welcome to Toronto, land of opportunity and, sometimes overwhelmingly, apathy. It's like New York - but simultaneously colder and warmer.

Yeah, I was fairly amazed this morning how quickly my relaxation dissipated after attending my first class. Anti-motivation it is.

Also: I think if I'm asked to make another website in a single class (or perhaps at all... I'm not sure I'm that annoyed yet) I may have to resort to violence.

Er, anyways, I find that just drawing is making a big difference. I'm also producing some... very random stuff. Maybe I'll clean up some of it and post it later.

As for the gaming store, I know about the Games Workshop at STC (the Warhammer store), but I can't imagine I'd be too welcome. I play their competitors games exclusively. :P
Though I have spent time talking with those guys on a few occasions. It might be somewhere to revisit for further leads.

Ummm just before I read all of this (since I'm at work and I'm not sure how far I'm going to get before someone comes to train me)

*POKE* teehee!!

I found a gaming store!! Lemme know if there is anything you can't find and I'll see what I can do :)
