So, what exactly is the point of Advanced Studio Practice?

It's an independant class, and essentially one of the hardest classes available. You spend time in class discussing the projects and doing critiques, as well as discussing other artists and relevant topics. You're also required to do a lot of readings and write a few papers.

I suppose the science equivilent would be a class where you have to run your own study or experiment, including references to other papers and experiments, discussion of modern theory and then finishing with papers defending your methods and results as well as a peer review of someone elses study. I dunno if that's clearer, to be honest. :P

I does make it clearer, actually. I read about halfway through the first paragraph and just went, "Ah. Honours project.". :D
