Help!

Hello everyone! I was wondering if I could ask for someone's help. I finally did my Utakata cover as a tribute to Isshi ^_^ but the converter I have won't turn the video into an mp3 properly. I use imovie to make the video and record myself using a flip camcorder. Then i turn the flip video, which is mp4, into mp3 and add the music to the imovie. I

Mmm, curious as to why you didn't just record into Audacity but anyway.

Audacity can extract audio from most video files (except MPG from what I've tried. But MP4 did work). Audacity is free. Just open your MP4 file in Audacity and then you can choose to Export your file as an MP3.

Thank you ^_^ Well to tell the truth I don't know how to use Audacity. I am still an amateur at this :/ But it worked! :D Maybe if I play around some more on Audacity I will understand....

lol, it took me a bit to figure out Audacity too. ^^ But basically, in your Preferences under Devices, you can choose what to use for recording input: Built-in Input (which is your Line-In jack) or Built-In Microphone. If you change it to the mic, you can record directly into Audacity. ^^ Hope that helps a bit!

Thank you very much!^_^ My mac has a built in mic but I like recording on my flip because the sound is better. Hopefully I will get a linejack for Christmas! :) Any advice for the background music?
