I understand You. My emotions are very similar to Yours, but I got to know them much later. Without them, the world is sad. But music remained. But Akiya and Izumi would return to the music industry, because they start to annoy me. We will meet Isshi on the other side. Then he will certainly sing for us.

Sorry for my english. I know that it's bad.

One of the things I've been noticing since their disbandment is that I don't get truly excited about new releases from any bands I know or like anymore. When Kagrra, had something new coming, I'd be checking their website daily, hoping to see new pictures, info, song samples or anything, and then when it was time for a new CD to come out and I listened to it, it was such a great feeling that I really don't have anymore. Like it was new, but I was still listening to something so familiar that all I could do was smile and feel good.

So yeah, I think I share your feelings. Regarding other bands, Plastic Tree is a great choice! You should perhaps check out Moran, DaizyStripper, THE KIDDIE and amber gris (all relatively new visual kei bands), me-al art, Dirty Old Men, ピロカルピン (Pirokalpin), NIKIIE, Base Ball Bear and tacica. All of these seem to fit into your criteria. :)

Again, same feelings as above. I got into the vkei / jrock sphere thanks to them about 7 to 8 years ago... so when they disbanded, I lost most of my interest in that scene. Truth is I haven't been able to listen to anything by them since Isshi's departure. And it hurts, because they have always been my favourite. But I just can't seem to listen to them without my heart feeling like it's breaking.

They were the best.

May I just leave a huge hug to all you, guys? ;_;
I know how you feel, there was a time when I hit that wall as well, but somehow I've overcome it. You should try playing some of their songs, music does not have expiration date, its colors will never get dull and Isshi's signing and feelings in those songs are still as warm as ever. I'm sure you'll feel it as well at some poin, though I guess timing is an individual matter...

oh dear, I just want to hug you all ♥ ._.

as for band recommendations I agree with rasutokun on ambergris. Maybe you could try jinkaku radio or NightingeiL. Dolly and Doremidan might also be interesting for someone. There are many good bands out there, none of them sound like Kagrra, but they are also unique in their own way and their music is beautiful as well. You can PM me if you want to further discuss this, and if you want it to be jrock/vk bands. It's kind of hard to blindly send recommendations out.

You're not alone. It's not easy to watch/listen/talk about Kagrra, without recalling the heartache we had the day they demised and the day we lost Isshi.
I tried to just be normal but I still can't listen to their music too often. Sometimes I can but sometimes I can't.
I'm not even that excited anymore about VK scene now--I used to follow many, many VK bands.

I guess we're still on process of moving on. As for me, right now I listen to whatever music that makes me happy.
There's no other band like Kagrra, so I just listen to any different genre.
I listen to ViViD, and recently I like Japanese band called Man With A Mission, they make easy listening music and the members are all wearing wolf mask. Quite cute and entertaining.

Cheers and let's be happy~ :)
