As it's already been stated, we've returned successfully with the scroll.

I successfully delivered your decoy to Mizukage, but he refused the alliance and attacked. As you know, we disposed of the assassins he sent and managed to break into the administration library and steal the scroll you wanted. I also left the message for him that you had assigned me. I doubt he will discuss any of this with other countries or declare war over this matter...we made sure to leave the impression that you wanted us to.

...I also asked Kidoumaru about his attachment to the kunoichi, and it appears his feelings for her have not changed... I'm not sure how severe this case is, however, because I believe some old rancor was a large part of his reaction... At this point, all is unclear.

Kabuto-sensei, I'm fine no matter what the others say. There's no need for you to check me over, I promise.

It's back, the burning in my chest and the pain coursing through every vein... I must keep this from Kabuto-sensei...if he knew he'd tell Orochimaru-sama of my weakness and...

Kidoumaru is a fool, and I no longer am sorry for that fact. To put my illness into remission has earned him my indifference, and I will not help him when Orochimaru-sama decides his fate. It was erroneous of me to think that I could befriend anyone as treacherous and foolish as he, and I will accept the punishment that Kami-sama has dealt me.

I will never lose sight of my purpose again, and that purpose is to serve Orochimaru-sama. "Friends" are nothing more than concealed weapons, the pain caused by them more surprising than anything else.

Next time he betrays Orochimaru-sama, I will be there to dispose of him, and I will not make the same mistake again. I will not hesitate, and he will die.
