Boy, your Holiday to-do list is as scary as mine! And I hate it, because by the time I'm done with 9 hours of work, I don't feel like being creative in the least. :(
Yup. Super-busyness tends to lend itself to destroying creativity. My only comfort in that regard at the moment is, ironically, my lack of employment. That allows me time to work on creative stuff while I look for a job. Doesn't always work, but it helps.
Like now- my husband yesterday told me that the christmas party is formal. Bleh. And rather than buying a tie (since we may have to buy him a new black dress shirt) I got inspired and decided to make him a chainmail tie. So far, it's looking great, just have to get through another 8 hours or before it'll be done. BUT, as long as i have it ready by saturday, I'm golden. (and who knows, if there is enough stuff left over to make a second one, I may see if anyone wants to buy it, haha!)
I hope things get better for you, creatively. I always did enjoy your work. :D
