First update, is that I've been able to find a way to make it to Con. Which is going to be awesome, as always. It's a shame the husband won't be able to make it with me... but I know he'll be there in spirit. :) And as long as I can get the autographs I need, I can consider it a success. That's awesome, I'm glad you've got something you want to do. Work sucks if it's just for a paycheck, but doing something you enjoy and/or have a passion in just makes life in general so much better. I'm happy for you.

Woo! Glad you managed to work out getting to con so we can extend some hospitality. :) Hell, if I'm lucky, maybe this year we can embark on the much-foiled vocation of talking in person for more than 120 seconds!

And yes, seriously must work on costumes earlier this year. I've got exactly 378 square feet of fabric, a ton of thread, and no time . . .

Yeah... I won't be riding up with my friends like I'd hoped, but since I was able to get that thursday off anyway just in case, I'll be driving up then. Now, I just need to find a good, safe, and cheap place to park the car until monday. I'm kind of hoping that the parking lot next to the hotels we found last year will have a space, barring something better.

Do I even want to know what you're doing with that much fabric?? LOL.

Of course, I've only got like... 7-8 square feet of fabric to deal with. *grin*

Well, I liked the spot we found last year.. it's a little bit more than the marta, (about $8 a day) but it's closer and easier for me to keep an eye on. Not that I'm that worried- I've got so much crap in my car, it's impractical for thieves to take it. It'd take em longer to clean it out than to strip it, lol.

But no, while I appreciate the offer, you've given me a place to crash where I don't have to pay you back right away... the least i can do is take care of my own parking. :)
