Remember when we used to take quizes and post results and be like HAHAHAHA I TESTED AS PIKACHU! Who misses those times? No one? WELL I'M POSTING THIS ANYWAY. Mostly because I think it's slightly more accurate than the first one I took which claimed that I was very concerned with being on time and organization. I don't remember the actual result, I

That there are a whole lot of psychological personality tests with both a "self" version and an "other person" version, and studying the differences is like, a whole big body of research!
This particular way of organizing the aspects of personality isn't very highly thought of by psychologists, but it's fairly popular with HR and business peeps. Or at least it twas in the 90s.

I have that problem with any of these tests. Like, sometimes it's both or neither, test! SOMETIMES IT DEPENDS ON THE CIRCUMSTANCES. I figured it might not be officially accepted because the test doesn't seem standarized and so therefore part of the influence could come from the person writing the test.
It IS interesting to know that that's a big field of study. I think of that any time I take personality quizes, even the silly little ones like What Kind of Yarn Are You. It's sort of like how I have this self-perception of how I look, and sometimes when I actually look at myself in the mirror there are bits that jar against my self-perceived image. (Is that weird? Do other people do that? Oh well.) So there's a difference between what I think I look like versus what other people actually see even in my physical aspect.

Yeah, I am not very good at managing how I'm percieved, so sometimes I am surprised by other's ideas, but I think that what makes me, me is pretty straightforward. But yeah, I am not the norm, because most people act differently in different circumstances and are much more social chameleon than I.

And PS: *I* miss those personality quizzes, big time. I just don't feel like doing one more 20-question quiz only to have to enter my email address to get the frelling results.
Also, I recently took the Hollins Alum survey and quite enjoyed the "spectrum" option they gave. Have you received/taken it and therefore know about which I write? I thought it was a really good way of getting a less black-or-white response.

Yeah, it's always quelling to have to enter my email address. I was trying to sign a petition for the White House and it asked for my email and I was like 'WHY." And then dithered a bit before doing it even though it was for a thing that I considered important. So I think the short answer to that long story is I FEEL YOU BRO.
I sort of toss everything Hollins sends me without opening it so...no. Although, that does sound interesting! On a vague tangent, I've heard the test for Pottermore is also interesting in that regard, like built specifically so that it's very difficult to cheat and get into the house you want.
