I take the fact that you know what the mystic krewe of barkus to indicate that you are from the St. Louis area, and that you you ID is the same as the name of the Collinsville High School Newspaper that you you are from Collinsville?

It seems like you put a little detective work into this, but much like Joe Mantegna in Homicide, clues that seem to have a rational answer can be red herrings.

The Krewe of Barkus is the dog parade that is sponsored by a bar owner in the French Quarter of New Orleans, where I was born an d raised. Unlike the usual mayhem and debauchery, the dog parade is often a fun time, as people usually drink and socialize in the street without getting too crazy, so it is a nice break from the action.

As for Kahoki, that is a case of good timing but poor spelling. When hotmail first came out, I thought I would be clever and secure the name of a ravishing demon from Legend of the Demonwomb, a very intense Japanese animie. At the time, I didn’t realize that the demon’s name was actually spelled KOHOKI until 2000 when I watched it through to the credits. By that time, a couple of people have pointed out that the Kahokies were a tribe of mound building Native American Indians in the Illinois area. Was surprised to see so many newspapers and schools ( ... )
