First it was the 9th ward, and now Lakeview is underwater with the relatively tall two and three story homes in Mid City next to be inundated

Thanks for the kind thoughts. My older sister in Ponchatuala was able to contact me today and reported that there wasn't any flooding on the north east above Lake Ponchantrain, but there was limited phone and no power. My ypounger sister is bunkered down as staff at the Winsder VCourt Hotel, but hasn;t been heard from since. There website reports that the hotel and occupants are secure, but I sent an e-mail to the staff there to enquire jus the same.
