India - this time for reals!

So, it is actually happening. My visa application was finally approved on the second time around. Don't ask me how and don't ask me why. I have no idea what happened and I am not going to ask questions. All I know is that my passport now includes a ten-year, multi-entry visa for India. On Friday I received my flight information. I leave Louisville

As for Hindi... I'm damn good with languages, I was in India for three months, and I still couldn't wrap my tongue around the language. It was frustrating, but my efforts were very appreciated by the families and the people I talked with. :) And the few occasions where I couldn't speak Hindi and they couldn't speak English we still found ways to communicate. Smiles go a long way.
