I have been largely absent from lj for a while. RL stuff, mostly. Anyway, I miss you guys! I have nothing super interesting to say; I just wanted to tell y'all that. ♥
Oh, also, my xmascookies gift is freaking awesome. Sorry, I am too lazy to link, but trust me on this. You guys, it kind of made me cry; that's the mood I'm in right now. I was all, oh, somebody wrote a fic for me, and it's dandy, *wipes eyes*. I'm way emotional right now, so... If you have any interest in dandy, go read!
In an effort to find how many random things I can say in one post, machka, I was shopping at our new local supermall, which is ridic huge, and I saw a shop called Machka! I have no clue what it was selling - it had a cartoon of a kitty in the window though. And also, the other day, we were driving to an area I don't really know, and passed Clement Road & Peek Avenue one after the other, so I'm debating writing Joey/Kyle fic because the universe is totally telling me something, y/n?
I'll preface the next comment by saying: Machka, for the love of god, don't read this! Much as I adore you, I have learned to my peril that my power to make you create new comms is not to be wielded lightly. Don't do it, okay? It is not a command, or even a suggestion! It is merely a passing thought.
So, people in SGA may have seen face_of_joe, and people in my new shiny fandom may have seen face_of_bradley (for serious, Merlin is eating my brain, y'all. I am *thisclose* to writing David Cook into the merlin!verse. It is delicious joyous crack and I adore it). The basic concept is this: Joe Flannigan and Bradley James make silly faces. People cap those faces and post them with silly captions. Much joy ensues. Now, I grant you, Joe and Bradley do make some pretty fabulous faces, but seriously, fandom, neither of them can hold a candle to David Cook in that department. DCook pwns all when it comes to ridic faces, right? So, where is face_of_david, hmm? Just sayin'. :D
Oh, also, Machka! I have not properly thanked you for your lovely gift of paid time! Moar iconses! I acquire icons very slowly because I really don't want ever to have the same icon as anyone else (yes, I know that's a little odd) so I tend to prefer to make them myself even though I suck at icon-making, hence adding roughly one icon per month to my collection. I may have acquired 32 icons in 2-3 years time, then. But thank you, darling! ♥ ETA: my new icon! \o/
