Hi guys. I'm afraid I might need to put the contest on hold for a bit. See, a few weeks ago, my laptop (dearest Jackie) was sent into the repair shop because the power jack was so loose I couldn't charge it. Sorry, didn't read this earlier.

Last time this happened to me, I was pissed because the computer in question was still under waranty, so I couldn't just open the case up, remove the HD, stick it in an external case (or another computer), and get my info out that way.

See, this is why I wish I had permission to take random gadgets apart and (try to) put them back together. I think it'd be a grand thing, but Dad won't let me get within ten feet of a computer when I have a screwdriver in my hand.
