A short little game of good and bad on the latest WoW news:

Bad:  WoW's expansion, The Burning Crusade, is delayed till January 2007
Good:  Still gives me time to prep for it, including maybe even getting my priest past 50
Bad:  Gotta wait 3 months now till I canuse those new specs and whatnot
Good:  New patch is coming, which should give plenty to do

I know you folks are WoW fans (and I loved it too, pre-endgame! especially thanks to you guys), but juuuust so you know, you're always welcome to hook up with me, and the League of the Ignoble Liver on EQ2. The retail version of the new expansion (comes out mid Nov.) contains the full game plus all expansions, so November is the time if you've ever been curious about it. Sony took some cues from WoW for the last few years and have made it into a very cool game. There is actually a free trial you can DL and play on SOE's website for a week, so you can take a peek without giving them your change.

I know you guys are committed, but just thought I'd put that out there. =)

Hehe.. actually, I think Candice was considering trying out FFXI just to play around with Gatsby and Elisa a bit, but I dunno if we're gonna do anything about that. :) We'll see though.. hehe.. never say never and all that. Never know..

And glad we helped make your stay in WoW a memorable one. I don't blame ya for bailing at the end-game. Admittedly, it's got some fatal flaws..

And you couldn't be more right about the player base. I tell ya, surprised at the level of idiocy sometimes, I tell ya :P

Ohhh.. switching toons, eh? I had considered it, but our guild is already pretty mage heavy, and.. I'll be honest.. I probably don't play a DPS class as well as I do a healer :P What level's your priest?

And yeah.. please don't die next semester :P I'm sure you'll do fine, cause you're smart and all that.. but still.. :)
