So our guest has gone from 'mild inconvenience' to 'complete pain in the ass'.

He almost burned our kitchen down the other morning. He has this tiny little pot that can't possibly hold more than a couple of cups of water which he uses to boil eggs in. He insists on putting this tiny pot on the biggest burner and turns the flame all the way up.

He's not earwax-impacted, he's going deaf and doesn't want to admit it because that'll mean he's getting old.

Please tell me your mother's going to tell him to go to a hotel. You'll all be safer that way.

Mom can't just throw him out, since my godmother will make us all miserable. Not just for a little while; for YEARS. She never lets anything go. However, Mom's told him she's remodeling her bedroom (which he's in while she's on the couch) in the next two weeks. That's lighting the proverbial fire under his ass to get his affairs in order and leave.

I won't miss him. Between the loud TV, the 4 AM showers, the stupid questions, and the tons and tons of racism, I can't wait for him to leave.

He gives Mom an envelope with $100 in it every month, and she told me this morning that he said "This is the last one". I'm taking that as a sign that he'll be going soon.
