We are battling that as well. Last week, I put him in disposables and treated with monistat. It cleared up and this week we are back in cloth. I wish I had some probiotic advice for you, but I've got nothing.

My day care owner SWEARS it's because we're using Target sposies at day care instead of Huggies or Pampers. I'm really thinking that's not the case, but I'll give it a shot.

I think it has more to do with heat and humidity and, perhaps, diet. I doubt brand of diapers has much to do with a yeast rash. Chemical rash, yes.

That's basically what I was thinking. But tell that to a Nicaraguan grandmother in her 50s who's owned a day care for the last 17 years. ;-)

i don't know a lot about probiotics specifically. i know that the enzymes found in yogurt-esp. natural organic ones like stonyfield farm have lots of good effects on counteracting yeast.

Dude, not that this has anything to do with babies, but I totally resorted to putting the plain yogurt straight up in there last week and it worked like gangbusters.

And yeah. New sex partner with a huge penis. (Yes, I really just went there). And then the Cipro they gave me to get rid of the UTI brought on more yeast. But what are you gonna do?
