I'm a real grown-up now... it's definitely weird. I have a full time job career (teaching!) and I'm moving out this summer. I will be a fully independent, contributing member of society. It's weird... but not that weird. It feels right; it's only weird when I over-think it.

Congrats on, uh, everything! It's great that you got a job right away; I know a lot of people in education have difficulty finding a (steady) after graduation.

Ironically, I was never that heavy into gaming either. I was there more for the socializing, and I think my organizational role was more a consequence of my natural aptitude.

Maybe I should try to organize another potluck. My grandma's in town for the summer...

And talking about your gaming friends... I actually feel like that, quite a bit. But I was afraid to say it. And especially this "I feel like even that is dying and soon I won't have anything in common with them anymore."

I'll miss you like crazy too. Or I won't because 100-hour work weeks leave little time to feel any emotions other than exhaustion. But if I did have time and energy I'd miss you.
