I was just browsing the internet when i came across all this national geographic thing about food.  All weird, foreign delicacy kind of things.  Oh, and random stuff about bees.
  • In Korea, they eat octopus live.  Yep...you read right.  They eat the octopus live.  The take the octopus, wrap it around a chopstick, dip it into stuff and then eat it.  ( Read more... )

I knew the octopus thing! I've seen youtube clips where people describe it. They say the tenticles try to stick to you as youre eating it. So youre chewing and they stick to your cheek! It's like a big deal over there, this guy who went to teach english over there told his students he tried it and they all had this new found respect for him or something.

The honey bee thing is fucking incredible. It makes me want to watch The Happening, even if it was stupid.

HAHAHA no it's not all about bees, but they talk about it in the beginning. The disappearance of bees and what it might mean. It was a really interesting part in a movie to see them actually address a current issue like that.
