I think that by now you've forgotten about this, which makes it alright for me to try again. Mostly because I have no clue how to delete this whole thing. I'm killing time until work. Wish I could have started earlier. Been a lot of killing of time lately. Just waiting until Sunday, where I can go to Pittsburgh and meet a friend for his birthday,

as for where you'll be in a year -- my only advice (and god knows my advice is hardly the final word) is to focus more on where you'll be today, and this weekend, and next week. keep your eyes open and play all your cards right now, set the stage, b/c sooner or later roll call will come at the drop of a hat, and having your ducks already in a row is 90% of the deal.
that, and more flowery, clichéd-but-well-written advice, take it as you will. ;-)
speaking of -- my side project kicked up into far higher gear recently, i'm now working even more than 24/7, trying to learn Zope & Plone & Python ASAP so I can pay off debts!
