Suburbia: Land of the Weird
On my weekly grocery run, the weird was out in force downtown today.
First there was the Jesus-mobile:
If you can't read it clearly, to the left of the license plate it says "Jesus loves the humble" and to the right "Jesus cleanses sin". There's an arrow just above the window that says "Go forth and sin no more". The sides of the car were the same theme: "Sin=Death" "Jesus saves from sin" etc. etc.
and then on the way home, there was the "biker gang":
That black sweatshirt on the lady in the rear says "Sons of Anarchy - Oakland" on it.
Sometimes suburbia is a really odd place to live...
(And yes, I swear I was at a full stop both times and yes, I am amused at the devil ducky in the shot with the Jesus-mobile.)
