From my experience, subtract about $2k what Kelly Blue Book tells you your car is worth and that's what you'll get for trade-in.

The hard part is deciding which "condition" to select. The car is in great shape...mostly because it JUST got out of the shop where it had extensive repairs after an accident. =S

So it's in fabulous condition but probably with a flaw in its record...which is going to impact trade in value, but I'm not sure by how much.

Same thing JUST happened with my Yaris, I still got about 2k less then KBB, I selected "fair" for its condition since it's damn near impossible for dealers to think it's the next two up lol. Hope that helps!

Oh and my accident had no frame damage, if you car had frame damage, it will be worth waaay less.

Nope...no frame damage. Just a lot of scraping the underside and thus replaced bolts, plates and housings. I'll keep in mind 2K below "fair" and try to not be too disappointed....
