YAY stros! We totally beat the crap outta the braves in the first game of the playoffs today! wooo! I knew we could do it ( Read more... )

WE ARE SOOOO IN! The stros won today against the cubbies 6-4 which means we have clinched the NL wild card division! AND WE'RE GOIN TO THE PLAYOFFS! That's right bitches......astros are in! wooooooo. Tomorrow is sport your astros gear day in honor of our amazing team!

THE STROS ARE ON TV!!!!!!!!! for the first time in like 3 weeks i actually get to watch an astros game on tv! It makes me happy man. Last game of the bucs series. WOOOO! this is the happiest i've been in a long time and it's all cuz of baseball! haha. yay!

So I went to dinner w/ Claire and Carly tonight and had sort of a scary conversation. We talked about how none of us are really happy here, or happy at all for that matter. So I made it through the first week of classes and it's finally the weekend. It was really rough. I got so overwhelmed after one day and it only got worse after the second and third day. So I've been here for 4 1/2 days and I miss home so much. I never thought that it would be this hard to move away. I don't particularly miss my family, as horrible as that is. I miss my bed and my house and the familiarity of home. I miss seeing people that I know all of the time ( Read more... )
