Earlier on, I went downstairs to get something to eat, and I kept hearing my grandad making that dreadful, wheezing moan he does now, but he was just sitting in the living room. It took me about three hearings of this to realise that he was trying to go to the toilet, and couldn't even get himself out of the chair, he's so weak now. I had to help ( Read more... )

Heart b r e a k i n g. Old age steals so much from the body. I live with my 94 yr old grandmother, full of beauty and love she is. I hope your grandfather was just as full and left it with you when he drifted into the light.

He went quickly and peacefully. Though if they'd picked it up quicker, he might've been around now.

Still, he was really only waiting to go, since my gran died some years back.

I'm dreadfully sorry I haven't replied to your myspace message yet. I've been forgetful with things recently.:/

On the subject of old age, I plan to live forever.;)

I plan on living forever too;) I think I am lucky... I don't age! haha... one day it will catch up to me though :( poop.
