So once again last night I tried to reinstall WoW: The Burning Crusades. First I totally uninstalled Firefox because the computer thought something in that was corrupting the install. Then Michelle managed to find the google toolbar thing that was supposed to be keeping it from installing properly so we removed it

This page has info on patch installation problems. Booting the computer in safe mode and installing the patches worked for me.

Thanks, I'll give it a try when the servers are back up and running. That's another annoying thing. The keep shutting the servers down like every other day for hours at a time.
