This is a quick poem I wrote for a Mythology quickwrite. It was supposed to have somewhat of a creation theme. I dunno, I kinda like it.

I find it interesting that you mention all the basic elements (fire, earth, rock, void(dark), and light) except water. It intrigues me.

Oh yeah... I actually didn't notice that. What's kinda strange is that in most culture's creation myths, before land there was an endless sea... Maybe I'm just here to prove Carl Jung wrong :p

Naw, Jung would just argue that you simply must not be human if you're ignoring the collective unconsciousness.
Your poem's so much better than mine... whenever I'm forced to write poetry my brain fizzles out. Then again, I did use the word "Apotheosis" in mine. What a fun word.

I have to admit, originally, the "Fills the void with light" line was "Of Chilian Hot Peppers that are Red" ... it didn't seem to fit with the rest of the poem :p
