I have a bed!!! (on Thursday)
11 months ago, I moved into my friend Verity's place in Harrisonburg, Virginia. It's a tiny room. I've come to love it and choose to keep it as my bedroom. I have a double-window that faces the street, which is also a south view. I get sun light all day. I have two attic eaves. So if I need to switch which side of the room my mini-closet is on, I can. It's a good room
11 months ago, I knew if I left my couch (the comfiest in the world) behind at my folks' my mom would toss it. So it had to move with in order to keep it. 5 year old futon queen-size futon mattress or couch? I chose the couch. The couch has been my bed for a year.
We moved around the furniture in the house and some of it came out of my room, including my couch. Now my room could fit a bed. I talked about bringing the mattress that I left at my folks. Their response? There's always mattress sales in July, let's buy you a mattress. SWEET :)
Now I have a comfy twin bed. Not a queen or a full, but that means that I have room for Fish's new aquarium (via a friend).
