Another wild weekend at the ranch.

Sometimes Miss D. and I bite off more than we think we can chew, but it always turns out OK in the end. ( Read about our latest project under the cut. )

Congrats on your project!

Yes, we in the Northeast haven't really seen the sun in ages. :/

Yes--all that rain! The news tonight said 15 inches in three or four days in New England--that's a year's worth of rain in most of the western states--I can't even imagine it. How much have you all had in NYC?

I'm actually in CT. I just go to NYC frequently--all our family is there, I grew up there and we love it there...hubby's career is in CT so we live in Southern New England. Fortunately, we haven't had it as bad as MA, VT & NH. They have much worse flooding.

Some of our towns (not mine) are concerned about major flooding and barriers breaking.

Cheez Louise, and I was patting myself on the back for filling my patio plantings! I potted up six petunias, two dusty millers, and three geraniums.

Good to hear from you again. FanSee

Hi Kai -
Glad you are back. I'm right there with FanSee. I've filled my pots and one of them is already dead. I think a certain kitty may have used that dirt as a toilet over the winter. So, next weekend I empty it all out and start over. Our weather has been sunny, dry and beautiful and it's headed your way!
