The waterfall
Here are a couple of pictures of the waterfall my partner and I had built in our back yard, right off our deck. The sound is amazing--soothing, restful, nourishing to the soul. Thanks to bradys_rulz for helping me figure out how to post photos!
This first one was taken the day it was finished. The water is still cloudy; that cleared up in a few hours.
This one was taken after a recent snowstorm. My small "icy stream" icons were taken that same day. The downside of all the ice, though, was that with the temperatures hovering below 20 for most of the week, I had to haul a lot of buckets of hot water from the house to keep it from freezing over. Fortunately, that's a rare occurrence here in St. Louis.
