The first crocus bloomed today!

It's been lovely and warm here--near 70 yesterday, 60 today. The crocuses don't seem to know that it's headed right back down into the teens on Saturday night....

Well, today they never even opened their little eyes, despite the screaming sunshine. Temperature topped out at about 28 degrees.... They'll be back in a few days when it's warmer. But how on earth do they not freeze solid and die? It's a miracle, for sure.
