Aww! What a strange place to get comfy. My dog is like that too. He'll fall asleep in/on the most inconvenient places (mostly me).

BTW, Shadow is beautiful! I have a thing for black cats.

I know what you mean about sleeping in and on the most inconvenient places--Miss Ellie likes to sleep on my desk between my elbows as I TRY to type on my laptop!

Pep's a dachshund. He's not a mini though. He looks like a puppy of some other breed.

My Shadow sleeps on a cushion and leans on my shoulder while I'm on the computer. I love cute kitties! :D

Maybe he was trying to fit inside the box? Leave any kind of an open bag, box, or tote around and my men in fur try to get inside and curl up.
It's hard to imagine sleeping on the top of the box would be that comfortable but...anything is possible, I guess.

I know what you mean. And they're so INSISTENT, once they've decided on a spot, no matter what we humans think about it. I can move my Osh Kosh off my pillow, or my mousepad, or out of my bathroom sink any number of times and when I go back, there he is again--until HE decides to move on. Amazing creatures. Maybe that's why we cat people never get tired of them.
