I hate airlines
My cousin is getting married on Saturday. I will be flying to Minot to sing for the wedding. However, because of my contract with Utah Festival, I was required to work a full day Friday. Thus, my schedule for Saturday ( looks next to impossible. )

If you combine the itenaries- you could rent a car for heaps less and practically drive the distance- 16 hours (Omaha - Dallas was 11) for less time and $$ then it would take to fly it.

I thought of telling you to book this anyway but then thought even if we got it, your profit for the summer would pale in comparison. Airlines! makes you want to call and ask to talk to the high exec to ask if anyone there understands anything about economics.
