For posting a fanfic, you pretty much type down your post and yeah, then you copy and paste your fanfic. After that, you need to use lj cut. (The lj cut is sorta confusing though, if you need any help ask me.)

Oh, and I'll go review your fanfic since I have a FF account.

Ahem, for lj cut..
okay, so you write and paste whatcha want on the poster thing. Then on the top, you should see some options. The Livejournal cut should be on the first row of options.

First though, you must highlight the text you want to cut. THEN you click the Lj cut option. It'll ask you to fill in something (like what you want to cut to say) and fill in whatever you want.
After that, your text should be gray OR the Lj cut option should be highlighted. If you want to change something, just be careful. Cause if you stray too far, then the lj cut option will be turned off then you have to go back a bit.
You know if the Lj cut option is on is if it is highlighted.
